No problems with screen resolution. But cannot change the display brightness either using power management or the dedicated keys. When pressing the Fn keys the indicator (comes in top right corner of screen) shows change but there is no change in screen brightness.

was able to change brightness using the below command:
xrandr --output LVDS1 --brightness 0.3

Resolution changes ok, so passed. But brightness cannot be changed unless you use nvidia-settings.
